Tonight, so sad to see Wieber not qualify for the all-around in gymnastics. I think we all know how grueling it is to literally be better than so many people, and be torn down when you least expect it. And then to have everyone feel sorry for you. For me, that’s the worst part.  But we all know that she’s a fighter — she’s strong, and most importantly, she’s a member of the USA olympic team. This, more than anything , means that more than any other team, our members are strongest when they’ve been knocked down. It’s the american dream; and It always comes from the nightmare.  Don’t get me wrong, it sucks, and if I were her, I wouldn’t exactly be up to having this get back at them attitude.  But it will come, and when it does she will be stronger than ever before. Because she’s an American, and that’s what we do.
